[Claire groans, slamming her hips down onto his one last time before she's coming, panting against his neck as she tenses up over him, feeling like lightning is shooting up her spine.]

[She starts lying back down next to him, before stopping herself. With a slight blush, she reaches out towards him under the blankets, getting the condom off of him in a couple quick moves. She drops it by the side of the bed with a grimace, promising herself to dispose of it in the morning.

Then, she settles back down.]

Just wasn't sure if you'd sleep better without me, or if it would be nicer on your back if it hurts, or if it was just simpler, between us.

[He thumbs over her shoulder. He knows this from experience.]

[She grins. She's surprisingly comfortable, and hopefully he's a lot more relaxed now.]

Didn't really answer my question about whether or not you care. Oh, also - did that help relax you?

[She raises a teasing eyebrow.]

[Still idly patting her shoulder.]

[Lifting herself up, she leans in to kiss him, her fingers in his beard, all slow and deep again, unhurried.]

[She nods, and does exactly that, grabbing her book from her backpack and joining him back on the bed, using the light from her tablet to get back to where she left off.]

[And he does doze, drifting in and out of sleep for a while. Eventually, he'll sink into it properly. He'll twitch and frown a little, sometimes - he always has his nightmares - but he won't wake up again unless she wakes him up.]
